The Weeknd – Often

I’m feeling the urge to update with more music lately! I guess my period of avoiding the intake of too much music has ended. For a while, I found myself reluctant to listen to music as much as I once did because of a metamorphosis of sorts. You know, we all know the roller coaster moments in life… I couldn’t handle the journey I usually go on when I listen to music because of what was happening to me internally. My life was shifted so greatly that music wasn’t as important for me to absorb as it was for me to start writing. This was only for a month or so. As of late, I’m getting updated on my favorite artists and The Weeknd has conveniently released a new XO’esque song.

I just love that The Weeknd continues to be true to himself in his music. The raunchy honesty he delivers so casually is one thing I love about his music!

The verse for Or Nah and the Drunk In Love remix are perfect fits for him and I ironically had a binge on House Of Balloons last night. That’s what makes the post eXtra exciting, you see.
I still can’t listen to a song by this guy without wanting to wind my hips.
