SOUL TIES playlist was inspired while I was listening to several songs that have a beautifully nostalgic 80s-electronic-r&b vibe to them but were actually released between now and the early 2000s. This is another playlist that I am taking my time with building. There are some songs that aren’t available to stream which I will eventually add to a mix version of this playlist later this year. Liberating The Captive Consciousness is a meaningful selection I compiled overtime, and it seemed more relevant each day, with all that continues to occur on a regular basis. Amongst these songs are some of my favorites, which I came upon during the most difficult period in my youth. That was when I became fully conscious of the world we exist in.
