Y Z – (Thus Prototype 3)
Y Z is an up and coming producer, vocalist, song-writer, artist, and poet from Toronto. The nineteen year old chooses to remain a mystery to most of us, but after listening to her beats, it is evident that she has little to be shy about and much to express. Her single Thus (Prototype 3) is the latest version in a series of songs with the same title, which means “this is us.” Through dark, trip-hop influenced sounds it honors human connection, passion, and love with etheric sexuality. Uzochi Phazora – Jungle Lost Adventures of Za
Just the name Uzochi Phazora, hints at the energy this being radiates. I discovered the music of Uzochi while looking for unique instrumentals for new songs I am writing. I found much more than that. There are two beautiful EPs she released, The Trap and Reality As Untold Fables, as well as Jungle Lost – Adventures of Za. Her productions are rich and story-like. Uzochi herself noted that Za is a tribal girl who ventures through the jungle and encounters traps, other tribes, and joy.
