StellarFaerie.com – Now Booking Photoshoots & Editing for local Content Creators

My cameras and I are back! During the Covid era, my relationship with my camera went from me continuing to pursue a career to barely doing any photoshoots at all…for both obvious and less obvious reasons. After I signed on to do another year of work for the county, which I really enjoyed shooting and getting paid for, Covid happened and I felt quite discouraged about being a photographer. Something in me fizzled out, and I haven’t picked up my own camera in a while. I never lost my eye and love for it. I just think I needed to step back and figure out where my heart truly is as a creative. Being multidisciplinary, there are things you can choose to do because you’re good at and they make money, there are things that bring you joy, and then there are things that are part of your calling. I needed to figure out where photography fell into that.

The last job I did was filming and editing a wedding video, and that was a year ago. I recently had a friend reach out to me looking to do a shoot for her 40th birthday, and I figured that I would get back to my roots by conceptualizing and creative directing a shoot for her here in Los Angeles. We’ll be shooting downtown, in the middle of the action, and at the beach to channel some true Piscean energy.

Anyways, the process of moodboarding and pulling together outfit ideas has me excited. It made me remember what I loved about this, and the way I choose to go about it. I miss it, and I would like to continue growing and learning more, even if it’s just here and there as my writing takes priority over all other endeavors. That is what led me to create my brand new website, StellarFaerie.com, which is still under construction in a few areas. It’s launched though, and is now my main landing page for all things related to my creative endeavors. And believe me baby, I am on a roll with my goals this year. I cannot wait to share more, but I’m also feeling protective about just what I’m up to. hehe

I want to offer local Los Angeles content creators some bartered photoshoots. This means, we are exchanging services. You must be an active creator with a real ambition, not simply trying to score a free photoshoot for whatever reason. The idea is that I’ll construct a photoshoot for you, outdoors since it’s warming up here, and in return you post and share my business within your content we create together, every time and everywhere you post the images. I’m offering this for five people starting late March. Please email me for more information.
