It has been a couple of years since Tidus dropped his last project, New Age, which included note-worthy songs like Delancey, Without a Care, and Apocalypse. He released this prodigious follow up titled Soon You’ll Understand. The EP comes to us via his unique label For The Future, and marks what I feel is the beginning of a authentic movement within music. It would be hard to listen and not be inspired by the originality of this sound. Tidus lyrically looms from his peers, not only through his these dreamy beats produced by Villabeatz and Ed Weathers of Fast Life Society, but also his spiritual perspective. The way he uses his voice also completes his enigmatic appeal. My current favorites to replay are No Matter What, Mantra, and Interlude. The EP streaming below is available for free as a torrent.
